THE KAYSON KIDS FOUNDATION
"We are the heart, soul, and footprints of children."
Galatians 6:2

MEET KAYSON COOKSEY
On the afternoon of December 1, 2014, Martez Sr. and Kestiny were blessed with an extraordinary gift in the form of a baby boy, Kayson Antonio Cooksey.
Kayson was birthed at five hundred and sixty grams, thirteen inches long. Delivered at twenty two weeks and five days. Within an hour, he was pronounced deceased. Condition resulting in death; Pulmonary Hypoplasia. Underlying cause; Extreme Prematurity.
Kayson is the second to youngest of five siblings. A beloved grandson, nephew and cousin. A true household name. His legacy will live on for years to come. Although he is missed beyond measure in the flesh, and our time with him may have ended sooner than anticipated, we know that he is alive in spirit.
Many of us take years to find our God-given purpose. Kayson transformed hearts, souls and footprints within an hour.
"I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better."
- Philippians 1:23
In Loving Memory
OUR MISSION
We are committed to celebrating the lives of children hoped for, living, and deceased. Creating indelible events and meaningful activities for families of our community with Christ as our foundation.
ABOUT US
The Kayson Kids Foundation is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization established in September, 2020.
Our organization is ran with the love of God, our family, friends, and our community volunteers. Our board of directors hand-picks each family to assist according to their testimonial needs. A new family is selected every month, totaling out to twelve families in one calendar year. This is all lead by the Spirit of God. The board of directors also selects appointed vendors and sites to fulfill our services to the Kayson Kids families.
It is declared and decreed that a physical location in the Nashville, Tennessee area will soon be our portion. With emphasis and faith in the Lord on someday becoming world-wide, offering a plethora of events and activities to our youth with The Kayson Kids Foundation as a home away from home to our children and families.
There are children hoped for all over the world from high-risk pregnancies, adoption, foster care, and infertility to name a few. There are living children that require attention to their essential needs of food, shelter, water, properly groomed hair, clean clothing, and individual moments of recognition to shape our children’s identities in Christ. Such as but not limited to; birthday celebrations, baby showers and photographs capturing priceless moments for memories. Many families of deceased children are without resources for optimal healing and they are looking to connect with others that can relate to their trials. Whether these children have been lost to premature labor, miscarriage, SIDS, gun violence, abortion, still birth or any other way, these are some of the areas of focus for us, and many more. We are here to assist our children and families before, during, and after the pulse.

THE TRINITY SERVICES
We serve to better the lives of our families in the Nashville community through our many causes. Creating small groups for families of children hoped for, to birthday celebrations for low-income families, candlelight vigils and donations for our deceased children in support of their families during time of distress. FAQS
WHAT SERVICES DOES THIS ORGANIZATION PROVIDE?
The Kayson Kids Foundation has three primary areas of service. These are called "The Trinity Services." Children Hoped For, Living, and Deceased. Everything that we do for our families are under the umbrella of the The Trinity Services. See more about these services under "The Trinity Services.'
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU IMPACT WITH YOUR ORGANIZATION?
The Kayson Kids Foundation is able to assist one family per month. That is twelve families per calendar year. It is our prayer to grow in terms of funding so that we are able to serve more through ought the year.
HOW IS THE KAYSON KIDS FOUNDATION DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS?
At The Kayson Kids Foundation, we are committed to keep Jesus at the forefront of our day to day lives. So that what we do here is only an extension of who God has called us to be to the world, rather than just our immediate friends and families. Our motto is the exemplification of the circle of life; hoped for, living, and deceased. This is something that each person on the planet will experience.
IF I MAKE A DONATION, CAN I DECIDE WHAT MY MONEY IS USED FOR?
Donors are able to place a request for the Trinity Service that they may wish for their donation to be used. However, there are guidelines used to serve all families per each Trinity Service. It is our prayer to only make minor adjustments.
